US President Donald Trump is disappointed with the actions of the Russian Federation as its military strikes civilians in Ukraine in the midst of negotiations.
As Censor.NET reports with reference to European Truth, this was stated by US Ambassador Matthew Whitaker
“I want to join the many voices around the world condemning the strikes on civilians in Ukraine and I want to express my deepest condolences to the families of the victims, including an American citizen who died during one of the recent strikes,” he said.
Ambassador Whitaker separately reported that the Russian Federation’s actions “disappointed” the US president.
“President Trump is disappointed by these strikes in the middle of negotiations,” he said.
However, speaking on behalf of the president, he stated expectations from “both sides.”
“We call on both sides to exercise restraint,” the diplomat said, without specifying what he meant by these expectations.
