He thanked them for their service and said he appreciated working with them in the past.

Newly elected US President  Donald Trump  announced that he will not invite Nikki Haley and Mike Pompeo to his new administration.

“I will not be inviting former [United States to the United Nations] Ambassador Nikki Haley or former Secretary of State [and Director of the Central Intelligence Agency] Mike Pompeo to join the Trump administration that is now being formed,” he wrote  on his page on the Truth social network.

According to the politician, he really liked the previous work with them and appreciates it very much. Trump also thanked them for their service to the country.

What Pompeo and Haley are known for

Before the elections, Mike Pompeo, in his WSJ column, suggested dramatically increasing support for Ukraine and thus forcing the Russian Federation to end the war. Among other things, it was about real sanctions against Russia, the creation of a $500 billion lend-lease program for weapons for Ukraine, the lifting of all restrictions on the acquisition and use of weapons, the revival of NATO, and Ukraine’s accession to the Alliance.

The Telegraph noted that the version of the plan to end the war in Ukraine, which Trump chooses, will probably depend on the members of his cabinet. In particular, Trump’s secretary of state during his first term, Mike Pompeo , who may head the Pentagon, criticized the administration of President Joe Biden for insufficient aid to Ukraine. The publication noted that Pompeo would not support an agreement that would be beneficial to the Russian Federation.

At the same time, Nikki Haley tried to become the Republican presidential candidate. She  advocated further aid to Ukraine  in the war against Russia and stated the need to remind the American people that Putin is not a man to be trusted.

  1. Reichsleiter VanZkov, who once ironically called Trump a Nazi, is IN. Those wanting to help Ukraine: Pompeo and Haley, are OUT.
