The Trump administration has cut off federal welfare funds to multiple different blue states, including California and New York, over a YouTube video that claims there is some sort of childcare fraud taking place in Minnesota. The Department of Health and Human Services, under the leadership of renowned crackpot Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., made the announcement that the funds would come to a halt on Monday. This has nothing to do with alleged fraud – it is all about Trump punishing states that didn’t vote for him, as Farron Cousins explains.
