Former US President Donald Trump sends congratulations to Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to Trump, Putin made “a good deal” in the context of the recent prisoner exchange with the West.
He said this during a campaign moment in the US state of Georgia. But for Washington, the exchange would be bad, Trump emphasized. “We got our people back, but boy, what terrible, terrible deals we made,” said the Republican. A total of 26 prisoners were exchanged between Russia and the West. It involved 24 adults and two children. Among the prisoners were three US citizens and one person with a US residence permit.

Actually, Trump is consistent. He consistently follows “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” policy. In utter selfishness, he just considers Biden, not Putin, his main enemy. And he never got the memo that sometimes the enemy of his enemy is just his other enemy,
