The West has mishandled this entire war from the beginning to this very day. And there is no sign on the horizon that this pathetic behavior will change.
Ukraine should be viewed as the Spartans, holding back a horde of criminals, protecting not only Ukraine but the entire European continent, and this isn’t a small gap like Thermopylae, but a six-hundred-mile frontline. Ukraine needs more help ASAP.
Excellent report.
Using putinaZi cash, I would appoint Sir Bill to head up a team of experts with one brief: the crushing of the putinaZi economy in double quick time. I’d have retired spooks like Chris Steel, cyber wizards, international lawyers, forensic accountants, bankers, financiers, ex-military, marine experts, logistics experts, oil engineers and anyone else worth their salt who hates putler. I’d ask them also to go after putinaZi assets held by putler, his cronies, his family and other custodians of putinaZi cash like Ivanishvili.
I’m afraid that a lot of mafia money is intertwined with Western politicians. So, we can forever forget that REAL SMASHING measures will ever be created that would blow a huge hole into the Titanic’s hull. We have to be satisfied with its slow sinking.
Sir Bill Browder has spoken to Times radio again today. He believes that putler is not going to stop. Only a full blown economic crash or a total military defeat will end the war.
I fear that no new materiel supplies will be sent now while the talk about talks continues; only what is being processed from the previous administration.
At a time when Ukraine needs to be pounding the savages constantly, they are likely to be eaking out what missile supplies they have, in anticipation of a long drawn out process that can only benefit the rat nazi.
Putin eyes Ukraine deal behind Zelenskyy’s back, but Trump ups the ante — The Times
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is trying to “charm” his US counterpart, President Donald Trump, into agreeing to an unjust deal concerning Ukraine, according to The Times.
The publication analyzes how the relationship between Putin and Trump could reshape the world. With Trump potentially returning to the US presidency and the war Russia launched against Ukraine approaching a critical phase, global politics may hinge significantly on how the two leaders interact and whether they can find common ground, the article states.
The Times notes that Trump and Putin have met in person five times, with their most notable meeting taking place in Helsinki in 2018. During that encounter, they spoke at length with only their interpreters present. Following the meeting, Trump effectively sided with Putin, stating he believed the Russian leader more than the FBI regarding accusations of Russian interference in US elections.
Now, a new political era is emerging, placing their relationship back in the spotlight. Many traditional diplomatic approaches no longer function as they once did, The Times suggests.
The publication emphasizes that Ukraine’s fate likely hinges on Trump’s personal relationships with both Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. It also depends on which members of Trump’s circle can capture his attention and shape his understanding of Russia’s war against Ukraine.
The Kremlin is clearly pinning significant hopes on Trump’s presidency, believing he could help Russia quickly end its war against Ukraine on terms favorable to Moscow. Putin even claimed that if Trump’s victory in the 2020 election hadn’t been “stolen,” the crisis in Ukraine that erupted in 2022 might not have occurred.
The article highlights an “unusual” gesture by the Russian dictator—sending a congratulatory message to Trump while stressing his desire to “prevent World War III.” Putin’s clear goal is to negotiate a deal with Trump on Ukraine, bypassing Zelenskyy, according to The Times. Such a deal would allow Russia to retain its occupied territories and block Ukraine from joining NATO.
Partly, Putin seems intent on reviving the “spirit of Yalta” from the end of World War II, when Joseph Stalin, Franklin Roosevelt, and Winston Churchill met in Crimea to “divide the world among themselves,” the article notes. Putin refuses to accept the harsh reality of Moscow’s declining global influence and likely believes he can achieve a “personal understanding” with Trump.
However, while the Kremlin hoped the US might begin lifting some sanctions, Trump has effectively raised the stakes. He has reportedly warned Putin of the consequences of refusing to come to the negotiating table, The Times reports.
Zelenskyy, meanwhile, has supporters within Trump’s close circle who are working to prevent any improper deal with Putin.
“Even within Trump’s team, Ukraine has many friends who are actively lobbying for Zelenskyy to be Trump’s closest ally,” The Times quotes a Republican official as saying.

Thanks for the interesting article, Larry.
It’s so sad that our POTUS does not stand by Ukraine’s side in a clear and decisive manner. All we have is hope, but no secure strategy.
