Trump said Zelenskyy “has other measures he can take.”
US President Donald Trump claimed he asked Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy to “tone down” on the strikes on Russian oil refineries, and Zelenskyy allegedly agreed. Trump made this statement in a comment to a Fox News reporter.
“The big problem is that refineries in Russia are exploding. It’s not so much a Middle East problem as it is a Russian problem—because Ukraine and Russia are fighting each other, and Ukraine is blowing up diesel refineries in Russia because they process a lot of oil. And I spoke with President Zelenskyy,” Trump said.
Journalists clarified Zelenskyy’s response to this request. According to Trump, the Ukrainian president said, “Well, that’s probably what we’ll do.”
Trump explained his request by saying that attacks on Russian oil refineries could create a “worldwide problem.”
I told Zelensky, ‘You need to tone down your enthusiasm about the oil refineries.’ There are other measures he can take,” the US president said.

Since TACO tried to save putler, Ukraine hit 4 oil refineries because putler won’t agree to an energy ceasefire. The Graham sanctions are on your desk, will they be used, or gather dust as more excuses come out?
