Trump Calls NATO ‘COWARDS’ For Not Joining Iran War—Claims ‘Very Little’ Military Risk

‘President’ Donald Trump on Friday criticized NATO as “COWARDS,” denouncing the military alliance as a “PAPER TIGER” over its refusal to assist in the Iran war and help reopen the Strait of Hormuz as oil prices escalate.

“Without the U.S.A, NATO IS A PAPER TIGER!” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Friday, calling the military alliance “COWARDS, and we will REMEMBER!”

Trump claimed NATO did not want to assist in the war, even as Trump said “that fight is Military WON” and posed “very little danger” for the alliance, as NATO “[complained] about the high oil prices they are forced to pay.”

NATO does not want to help open the Strait of Hormuz, the largely Iran-controlled waterway through which 20% of the global oil supply flows, Trump claimed, adding “So easy for them to do, with so little risk.”

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and his counterparts from France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Japan issued a joint statement on Thursday calling on Iran to cease attacks in the Strait of Hormuz and on energy sites in the Middle East. Starmer and the other leaders said interference with international shipping and disrupting global energy supply chains “constitute a threat to international peace and security.”

Key Background

Trump denounced U.S. allies for refusing to join in its conflict with Iran shortly after launching strikes alongside Israel last month, though he later pulled back from his criticism. European officials have said they would not join the war, arguing it was a conflict started by the U.S. and did not involve European interests: German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said Monday, “This is not our war, we have not started it,” and French President Emmanuel Macron said France would “never take part in operations to open or free the Strait of Hormuz in the current context.”

Macron noted France was prepared to play a role once fighting ceased. Earlier this week, Trump said the U.S. didn’t “need any help, actually,” just a day after calling on allies to “get involved” to help preserve the global oil market. Gas and oil prices have surged since the U.S. and Israel attacked Iran, as the cost of oil per barrel topped $119 twice in recent weeks.

  1. 😂😂😂 That picture!

First that fuckwad treats our friends and allies like enemies and sides with the mafia terrorists, and now he cries like a little girl because they won’t help him with his illegal war that he and the beer keg with arms and legs (Hags-breath) are screwing up big time. My kind of humor.

  2. Well Donny, ya reap what ya sow. Act like a turd to your allies and guess what? They tell you to fuck off when you need them.
    Who knew huh?
