Next week, a US delegation will meet with Iranian officials to discuss a potential nuclear deal.
This was announced by US President Donald Trump during a press conference after the NATO summit in The Hague, CNN reports, Censor.NET informs .

“We’re going to talk to them next week, with Iran. Maybe we’ll sign a deal, I don’t know. To me, I don’t think it’s that necessary. I mean, they had a war, they fought, now they’re going back to their world,” the American leader said.
At the same time, he does not consider such an agreement necessary.
“I don’t care if there’s a deal or not,” Trump said.
The head of the White House said that the United States will ask for “the same thing we asked for before: we do not want nuclear weapons.”
“We don’t want nuclear weapons, but we have destroyed the nuclear program. In other words, it has been destroyed. I said, ‘Iran will not have a nuclear weapon.’ Well, we have blown it up. It has been completely destroyed, so I’m not too concerned about it. If we had some kind of document, that would be great. We’re going to meet with them,” Trump said.
Recall, CNN previously reported that, according to US intelligence, strikes on Iran did not destroy its nuclear program.
