US President-elect Donald Trump said Ukraine “maybe” can expect to not receive as much military aid from the United States when he returns to the White House, in an interview with Meet the Press.
He said he was actively trying to end the war “if he could.”
In addition, Trump said he would not commit to keeping the United States in NATO, which has been a bulwark against Russia since World War II.
He said he would maintain America’s role in the Alliance “if they pay their bills.”

Trump: one day he says this, and the other day the opposite………………memory of a fish!
“He said he was actively trying to end the war “if he could.”
Somewhat different to “I will end the war in 24 hours.”
“He said he would maintain America’s role in the Alliance “if they pay their bills.”
A more sensible alternative would be :
Unless your audited defence spending meets the minimum 2% requirement, you will be ordered to leave the alliance.”
And :
“Unless you commit to provide forces commensurate with your size and capabilities to fight Russia, you will be ordered out”
And :
Open allies of Russia such as Hungary and Slovakia will be kicked out without notice.”
