Ukraine believes it has secured the White House’s support for a campaign aimed at forcing effective negotiations with Russia, following a conversation between President Volodymyr Zelensky and his American counterpart Donald Trump, Kyiv Independent reports , citing a senior Ukrainian official.

“Trump says he doesn’t really believe Putin will do anything without pressure,” said an official briefed on the results of the Trump-Zelensky meeting.
