Its task is to guarantee the implementation of the future peace plan and monitor its compliance

The administration of US President Donald Trump is considering creating a “Peace Council” that could monitor the implementation of a future agreement to end the war in Ukraine, the Financial Times reports .
It is noted that the “Peace Council” is part of the peace plan for the Gaza Strip, agreed upon through the mediation of the American leader. This body, which Trump himself is to head, should coordinate the future administration of the Palestinian enclave.
As a senior Ukrainian official involved in negotiations with the US told the publication, the creation of a “Peace Council” for Ukraine (which should also be headed by the American president) is “an important part of the proposals designed to end the Russian war.”
It is argued that the council should include representatives of Ukraine, Europe, NATO and Russia, and its task is to guarantee the implementation of the future peace plan and monitor its compliance. The article states:
“There is no sign yet that Russia is ready to agree to – or even seriously discuss – the 20-point peace plan agreed upon by the US, Ukraine and its Western allies. Moscow insists on territorial concessions from Ukraine, which Kiev considers unacceptable.”
It is noted that the Trump administration is considering the idea of using the “Peace Council” scheme to end other conflicts, including in Ukraine and Venezuela.
According to the FT, this plan could be presented at the World Economic Forum in Davos, which will take place next week.
US peace plan – latest news
Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine “has worked very well” with the United States in terms of peace negotiations . Thus, he commented on Trump’s words that Ukraine is allegedly delaying the negotiation process.
At the same time, the president added that a Ukrainian delegation has left for the United States for negotiations. According to Zelensky, work is currently underway on two documents.

If this really works, putler should feel like Poroshenko did with Minsk II.
He wants to make war, but also wants to be honored with peace prizes. Toward the beginning of last year he received this, which is nothing short of blasphemy.

This effort will be totally useless except for mafia land and Taco’s greed. Taco has never done anything greatly beneficial to Ukraine.
