Tomorrow the first military from the DPRK will be in the Kursk region, – Budanov

North Korean soldiers are to help the Russians counter the Ukrainian Defense Forces in Kursk region.

The first DPRK troops are expected to arrive in the Kursk region of Russia tomorrow, October 23, 2024.

This statement was made by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov. As he noted in an interview with The War Zone , North Korean soldiers should help the Russians counteract the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.

The information comes as South Korea considers sending advisers and offensive weapons to Ukraine in response to Pyongyang’s deployment of more than 12,000 troops, including elite special operations units, to Russia.
