The Armed Forces of Ukraine are not about ranks and positions, not about fame and popularity – they are about the inner state and a way of life that is extremely difficult. About responsibility and the strength to fight when death walks near. Move forward when it’s difficult. About an idea that continues to burn stubbornly when there is despair around.
You are not just living, but fighting against a strong enemy in cold and heat, in rain and snow, without the right to rest or sleep. Year after year, tired, but still courageous. For children, for families, for fallen comrades, for all of us, for Ukraine.
I am proud to have once become part of this big family and have never regretted about it for a single day. This is a path that brings together incredible people, gives true friends and reliable comrades. This is a path that teaches you to distinguish only the real.
Thanks for your service to everyone who fought and is still fighting. Strength and endurance to you.
