Timmy, the humpback whale stranded in the Baltic Sea near Germany, has started swimming again after regaining strength, according to state environment minister Till Backhaus.
While earlier reports indicated he was stuck and weak in shallow waters near Wismar, he has dislodged himself from sandbanks and is moving again, though his future remains uncertain.
