Former Vice President Mike Pence: “Ukraine wants peace. Putin doesn’t want peace. Putin wants Ukraine. Time for America to stand with Ukraine and stand firm against ongoing russian aggression.”
Mike Pence clearly has a moral compass.
During Trump’s first presidency, Pence played a crucial role in tempering Trump’s extreme tendencies. Although Trump has long admired Putin — calling him a great leader and a good friend — figures like Pence helped moderate his views.
This time, however, Trump has surrounded himself with a pro-russian and anti-Ukrainian circle. Among them is Tulsi Gabbard, a russian sympathizer who has repeatedly spread conspiracies about American biolabs in Ukraine and blamed NATO for russia’s attack. Then there’s Kashyap Patel, the newly appointed FBI director, who received a $25,000 fee from a russian film company that promoted pro-russian and anti-Western narratives. And, of course, Elon Musk, who consistently echoes russian propaganda and anti-Ukrainian rhetoric.
Given this, Trump’s anti-Ukrainian and pro-russian stance comes as no surprise.

In Finland, russian neo-Nazi Yan Petrovsky sentenced to life for war crimes in Ukraine.
Petrovsky, a co-founder of the russian neo-Nazi group Rusich, fought alongside russia in its war against Ukraine. According to the charges, in 2014, he and Rusich fighters killed 22 Ukrainian soldiers and severely wounded four others.
He was also accused of violating the laws and customs of war. This is the first time Finland has prosecuted a russian national for crimes committed in Ukraine.

So, I presume that Ukraine can also request removal of some people from U.S. administration due to a “too pro-russian stance.” I have a candidate in mind.

This is what Ukraine’s former nuclear shield looked like, which it gave up for free in exchange for security guarantees from the U.S.
Now, the U.S. administration wants to offer some vague “security guarantees” again in exchange for Ukrainian mineral resources and territorial concessions to russia.
