Three months in solitary confinement: Russians tortured a teacher from Kharkiv in Crimea

Oleksandra Kazarovytska (Kolesnikova), director of studies and co-founder of the Kharkiv language school “Professional”, died in occupied Sevastopol : colleagues and relatives are sure that the woman was killed by Russia .

As the school said , she was born into a military family and was the only child in the family. After her father retired, he settled in Sevastopol, where he had an apartment. At the same time, Oleksandra lived almost her entire adult life in Kharkiv, where her grandmother also lived.

During the war, she met her parents on neutral territory – in Turkey or Georgia. As her parents got older, it became increasingly difficult, so the family decided that they would move to Turkey for permanent residence. This way, Alexandra and her husband could be there and take care of them.

“In the summer, she went to Sevastopol for a month at most to help her parents sell their apartment and move. In September, Sasha was supposed to return home. She was detained there. They found her correspondence with a volunteer from the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Then three months in solitary confinement. Waiting for the trial. And then “suicide”. Sasha never returned home,” the language school said.

The deceased was survived by her daughter Alice and her husband Oleksiy.
