Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is due to convene a closed session of the Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday.
This was announced on the air of “Freedom of Speech by Savik Shuster” ex-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Dmitry Razumkov.
“I would like to appeal to the president and invite him to the parliament on Tuesday to come and at a closed meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine convey information about what is happening in the country,” Razumkov said.
In turn, MP Petro Poroshenko believes that the Rada should meet for an extraordinary meeting on Monday.
“Call an extraordinary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada on Monday to make decisions on fundamental changes to the budget. Allocate funds for the accumulation of strategic reserves: bulletproof vests, fuel, food,” he said.
Poroshenko added that the Rada should increase the salaries of the military and police.
As UNIAN reported, in November 2021, Bloomberg published an article discussing the risks of a full-scale Russian attack on Ukraine . It was noted that in the circles of American and European diplomats, they are seriously worried about the movement of Russian troops towards the border of Ukraine.
On December 17, the Russian Foreign Ministry published a draft treaty between the Russian Federation and the United States on “security guarantees” and a draft agreement on measures to ensure the security of Russia and NATO member states. In particular, Russia invited NATO to refuse to accept Ukraine into the Alliance, as well as “from any military activity on the territory of Ukraine”, suggested that the United States not create military bases on the territory of the countries of the former USSR and not accept these countries into NATO.
On January 12, 2022, a meeting of the NATO-Russia Council was held in Brussels , at which security issues in Europe were discussed.
After the meeting, NATO member countries called on the Russian Federation to immediately reduce tension in Ukraine and refrain from aggressive deployment of troops, and also called for the withdrawal of troops from Ukraine, in particular, from Crimea.
NATO member countries reaffirmed the “open door” policy of admitting new members and declared that they would not refuse to deploy troops on the alliance’s eastern borders.

Well done, President Poroshenko!
We may have eight or nine days left until an invasion. Where are the REAL arms???
Sending real calibers now will prevent an invasion. Sending arms once the invasion is underway means financing an ongoing massacre that may last very long and may end like Syria. Wake up!
What Ukraine needs:
F-16’s and MIG’s
Apache helicopters
Air Defense Systems
Gunboats
Howitzers
Guided missiles
Transport vehicles
Night vision goggles
Armour
Food
Blankets
Heaters
First aid kits
COVID-19 treatment meds
Radar
and tons of ammo.
Better yesterday than tomorrow!
