He noted that decisions from partners are needed to counter Russian aggression.

Today’s attack by Russian occupiers on Ukrainian territory was one of the largest and aimed at critical civilian infrastructure. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky in his video address.

“Right now, the entire country is continuing to eliminate the consequences of the Russian strike. It was one of the largest strikes – a combined one. More than a hundred missiles of various types and about a hundred “shahids,” the head of state noted.

Like most previous Russian strikes, he said, this one was just as sneaky, targeting critical civilian infrastructure.Video of the day

“In most of our regions, from Kharkiv and Kyiv to Odessa and the western regions. Unfortunately, there are casualties. My condolences to all relatives and friends. There are dozens of wounded – everyone is receiving the necessary assistance,” Zelensky emphasized.

He noted that as a result of the enemy strike there is a lot of damage in the energy sector. But wherever there are power outages, restoration work is already underway.

“Repair crews will work around the clock. We will restore electricity,” the head of state emphasized.

In addition, he noted that decisions from partners are needed to counter Russian aggression.

“Putin is true to himself: he is a sick creature – it has been clear to everyone for a long time. But it is also clear: he can only do what the world allows him to do. Weakness, lack of solutions in response feeds terror. And every leader, every partner of ours knows what strong decisions are needed to stop this whole war, and stop it fairly. There can be no limitations in range in Ukraine when terrorists have no such limitations. There can be no limitations in weapons for defenders of life when Russia uses its own weapons of all types, and “shahids”, and ballistics from North Korea. America, Britain, France, other partners have the power to help us stop terror. Solutions are needed,” Zelensky emphasized.

Russia’s attack on Ukraine on August 26 – what is known

As UNIAN reported, the Russians began attacking Ukrainian territory with “shahed” drones at night, and in the morning they used missiles. The launches were carried out both from bombers and from carriers located in the Black Sea.

The Russians used drones, as well as land-, air- and sea-based cruise, guided and high-speed missiles.

Explosions were heard in different regions, there are dead and wounded. In particular, in Lutsk, as a result of the morning enemy attack, an apartment building and an infrastructure facility were damaged. Some Ukrainians were left without electricity due to Russian strikes on critical infrastructure, and others – due to preventive security measures by energy workers.

Due to the difficult operational situation in the energy sector and, in particular, following the instructions of Ukrenergo to introduce emergency power outages, a decision was made to deploy Points of Invincibility in Kyiv.

  1. “Putin is true to himself: he is a sick creature – it has been clear to everyone for a long time.”

That is correct. “Creature” is the right word for this satanically evil motherfucker. Yet it was others who armed the missiles and pressed the launch buttons. Bomber pilots and drone operators; with families: who knowingly took to the air to murder civilians. They too must die. Very painfully.
putinaZis are the type of creatures that should never be permitted to breed.

    • Those pilots and officers and everyone else are just as guilty. They all are war criminals and I’m sure that the SBU will hunt them down in the coming years. They and their families should be given concrete shoes and sunk in the nearest pond.

  2. “America, Britain, France, other partners have the power to help us stop terror. Solutions are needed”

I never would have thought that in 2024 terrorism and its blackmail would be able to shape the law and international relations in depth.

To the point of preventing a victim from defending themselves against the attacker.

Nazi Russia is leading the 21st century towards a deregulated, violent world, held hostage by terrorism and where international institutions will be broken.

  3. Beyond the destruction and deaths, let us not forget the population in the shelters.

The attack lasted almost 8 hours! The pressure on the morale of the population, especially children, is an important factor in the event of war. These large-scale attacks must obviously stop to avoid destruction and deaths but also to preserve the hope of citizens.

Ukraine needs more anti-defense systems, West must allow defensive fire from Poland to free Ukraine’s western defense from this task and, of course, allow AFU targeting anywhere in Russia.
