As he prepares for midterm elections, Donald Trump has been making moves in domestic politics that have gone unnoticed by most of the international community. Focused on Greenland, Venezuela, Ukraine, Iran, tariffs, and more, it’s easy to miss the significance of what Trump is trying to in America’s housing market. That, in turn, reveals a lot about where Trump sees himself internally, and how strong or weak he actually feels. It’s not just a snapshot of a policy – it’s an important indicator of how worried (or not worried) the world should be about some of the worst-case fears concerning Trump.
