Trump said his last conversation with Putin “went very well.”

US President Donald Trump responded to Russia’s claims that Ukraine allegedly attacked Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s state residence in the Novgorod region (Valdai). His words were quoted by  Sky News .

“I honestly don’t know anything about it. I just heard about it, but I don’t know anything about it, so to speak. It would be very bad, it would not be good,” Trump said during a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

According to Trump, Putin personally told him about the “attack” during their last conversation.

“President Putin told me about this early this morning. He said he was under attack. This is unacceptable. Absolutely unacceptable. Don’t forget, I stopped the supply of Tomahawk missiles (to Ukraine – UNIAN),” the US President emphasized.

Trump also spoke about his recent conversation with Putin, saying it went very well.

“By the time we finished, it was 2:30 a.m. in Russia. We had a very good conversation. We talked at 8 a.m. our time, and it was a very productive conversation,” the US President shared.

Trump noted that during his conversation with Putin, they discussed “several very difficult issues.” He expressed confidence that some of these issues could be resolved, leading to peace.

Russia may strike government buildings in Kyiv – what is known

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia  was preparing the ground for attacks on government buildings in Kyiv. He recalled that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov recently stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces allegedly attempted to attack Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s state residence in the Novgorod region on the night of December 29 (Valdai).

The Russian Foreign Minister also stated that Russia had “determined the time and targets for a retaliatory strike.” According to Zelenskyy, these extremely dangerous statements from Moscow are clearly aimed at undermining all the achievements of Ukraine’s joint work with US President Donald Trump’s team.

  1. “I honestly don’t know anything about it. I just heard about it, but I don’t know anything about it, so to speak. It would be very bad, it would not be good,”

Maybe you could ask Zelensky, or your intelligence agencies about this mythical attack.

  2. I wish Zelenskyy would call him on this and indeed ask Trump where was his outrage when children were killed.
