Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov spoke reluctantly about Vladimir Zelensky’s visit to Kherson.

Putin’s spokesman did not comment on the question of journalists about Zelensky’s arrival in Kherson, but said that the regional center of the Kherson region is “the territory of Russia,” RIA Novosti informs .

Liberation of Kherson

On November 11, the Armed Forces of Ukraine entered  Kherson , which was occupied in the first days of the full-scale war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

While in Kherson, Zelensky said that it was important for him to personally visit this de-occupied city, despite the threat of enemy strikes. This is the only regional center of Ukraine that the Russian army was able to capture and hold in occupation for 255 days.

Valery Zaluzhny commented on the de-occupation of Kherson , noting that the military operation to liberate the city had been going on since the beginning of September.
