An acquaintance of Danylo’s family named Olena said that the teenagers had a very good relationship.

“They were wonderful children, bright, well-mannered. They will be buried together so that they will always be together. They met. They went on a date, walked, and were killed by a Russian missile. Danylo was the only child in the family,” she said.
