The head of the specialized department for the prosecution of crimes of sexual violence related to the conflict, the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Anna Sosonskaya, spoke about one of the facts of sexual violence in which the Russian military, located in the occupied part of the Zaporozhye region, was involved. According to her, they acted by prior agreement among themselves and entered the territory of a household in one of the districts of the Zaporozhye region, currently an occupied area. Only civilians, spouses and two young children lived there.

Sosonskaya claims that one of the servicemen, threatening to kill her and use firearms, put a machine gun to the woman’s mouth. Another grabbed her by the hair and began hitting her in different parts of her body. Then she was dragged into a deserted place – into a forest belt, where their artillery firing positions were located, and there they raped her one by one.
“The trial is currently ongoing. In this criminal proceeding, we are working with the victim and her family members,” Sosonskaya added.

A Russian from the Vladimir region raped and killed a 17-year-old girl in the occupied “LPR.” As the Russian publication ASTRA reports, 17-year-old local resident Anastasia V. disappeared in occupied Rovenki, Lugansk region. On May 4, her body was found in a forest belt in the village of Dzerzhinsky. On suspicion of murdering the girl, a citizen of the Russian Federation, a native of the Vladimir region, 33-year-old Andrei Kurbasov, was detained.
