The consequences of attacks on military facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation are already visible on the front lines, says Musienko.
Defense forces of Ukraine continue to attack large warehouses with ammunition on the territory of the Russian Federation. The purpose of these attacks is, in particular, to reduce the occupiers’ ability to attack civilian objects in Ukraine, explains a military expert, head of the Center for Military Legal Studies, Oleksandr Musienko.

“Today, we can say about four warehouses that were hit in two weeks. The successful attack was on the warehouse in Soldatsky, Voronezh region, where North Korean-made KN-23 missiles, which Russia uses for terrorist attacks on the territory of Ukraine, were based. Next was Toropets, Tver region, and there was another warehouse where the “Iskander” and “Point-U” ballistic missiles were located. It is about 15 km from Toropets. It is also a large warehouse,” he said on the TV channel FREEDOM .
Musienko drew attention to the fact that the General Staff noted that combat work will continue. According to him, such actions have two goals.
“The strategy pursued by Ukraine has two goals – to reduce Russia’s ability to carry out terrorist attacks on civilian targets and to reduce the potential of Russian troops directly on the frontline,” he added.
And, in his opinion, the consequences of attacks on enemy military facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation are already visible on the front lines. In particular, the Russian command “has already given an order in the Donetsk direction to start saving ammunition.”
“Because they are now finding out the consequences of attacks on arsenals and there may be disruptions in logistics due to these attacks. There will be disruptions for sure. These strikes are already visible, they will be felt, in particular at the front,” Oleksandr Musienko summarized.
Attacks on Russian ammunition depots
The other day, Ukrainian forces attacked an ammunition warehouse in the city of Toropets, Tver region of the Russian Federation. British intelligence noted that one of the largest Russian warehouses with ammunition was hit, where more than 30 thousand tons of ammunition were stored. And this strike will have a negative impact on the ground operations of the Russian Federation, in particular, in the Kursk region, the review says.
The head of Estonia’s military intelligence center, Colonel Ants Kiviselg, estimates that the attack on the warehouse near Toropets could have destroyed 30,000 tons of shells, equivalent to about 750,000 shells.
Already on the night of September 21, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the Russian arsenal “Tikhoretsk” in the Krasnodar region and the 23rd arsenal in the Tver region, not far from the settlement of Oktyabrskyi.
