Up to 90% of Western cargo headed for the front is processed there.

The Polish authorities are strengthening security measures around the main transit hub for foreign military aid to Ukraine – the Rzeszow-Jasionka airport. As Bloomberg writes , this is evidence of growing concern about sabotage operations supported by Russia.
“We encountered a foreign state that is conducting hostile and, to put it in military language, dynamic actions on the territory of Poland. Nothing like this has happened before,” explained Polish Minister of Internal Affairs Tomasz Semoniak.
He did not specify how the security of the airport will be strengthened. At the same time, he emphasized that Poland is now facing an “unprecedented level” of foreign intervention after that.
It is noted that earlier, Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced 12 detainees as part of the suppression of alleged sabotage directed from Russia. These include arson, attempted arson, and physical attacks.
The publication also emphasized that this airport is located less than 100 kilometers from the border with Ukraine. Up to 90% of Western cargo headed for the front is processed there. The airport has also become the main stopping point for foreign officials visiting Kyiv.
Subversion of Russia in Europe
European investigators are increasingly seeing Russian fingerprints in recent acts of alleged sabotage at strategic infrastructure facilities. However, they cannot take the necessary measures. According to The Wall Street Journal, evidence of alleged attacks is often inconclusive. Therefore, it is quite difficult to react to it.
Earlier, Bloomberg wrote that behind a series of increasingly obvious, frequent and coordinated incidents across Europe, the hand of the Russian military intelligence – the GRU – is most likely behind. From Berlin to Vilnius, governments face the growing threat of Russian-sponsored acts of sabotage and violent intimidation.

Like so many other things could be doing, should have already been done.
My thoughts exactly, Sir Bill. This will never change, I’m afraid.
And perhaps more quietly…
Hopefully, the Poles will shoot to kill when they discover saboteurs.
Without also strengthening security at the border crossings, prohibiting disruptive protests there, this is a rather halfassed measure. 😕
