In Vovchansk, Ukrainian forces have succeeded in advancing through some streets, but large-scale counteroffensive actions are still a long way off.

In the Kharkiv direction, the Russians are mostly directing their assault actions in the Vovchansk region, also in the high-risk area of ​​the settlement of Hlyboke . At the same time, we are not talking about any successes of the Russians, since they are stuck in Vovchansk in street battles, and near Hlyboky, they have a catastrophic situation with logistics – thanks to Ukrainian UAV units. Volodymyr Chernyak, an officer of the “Rubizh” brigade of NSU, told about this on the air of the telethon.

He noted that the Armed Forces are gradually forcing the Russian army to go on the defensive in the Kharkiv direction. In Vovchansk, Ukrainian forces have succeeded in advancing through some streets, but large-scale counteroffensive actions are still a long way off, because the Russians have a significant advantage in manpower and weapons.

The NSU officer also commented on the report that the day before the occupying forces hit their forces blocked at the Aggregate Plant with a heavy flamethrower system “Solnepyok”, noting that this plant “has become a big problem for the Russian occupiers.”Video of the day

“Probably, they decided to ease the suffering of the Russians who are blocked at the plant… However, it is not the first time that the Russians have recorded shelling of the Aggregate Plant and the surrounding areas, as we did not launch these shells,” Chernyak said.

According to him, there are currently a small number of Russians at the plant, but many of them are incapacitated.

“They have disrupted logistics, they are trying to somehow compensate for the lack of water, food and ammunition with drones. Street battles are ongoing in the city of Vovchansk. There will probably be good news soon, in particular about the Aggregatny Zavod. Unless, of course, the Russians themselves are the first to deal with it and destroy their own servicemen on its territory,” the officer added.

The situation in the Kharkiv direction

Oleksandr Borodin, the spokesman of the Third Separate Assault Brigade, said that now the Russians are trying  to regain their positions in the Kharkiv region , and that is why they are conducting active assaults.

Earlier it became known that on the stretch from Hlybokoy to Vovchansk, Russia is deploying “Akhmat” units . As Yuriy Fedorenko, the commander of the 92nd OShbr brigade “Achilles” assault battalion, explained, “Akhmat” is engaged in “forced motivation” of soldiers who do not want to fight.
