Russian troops carried out several drone attacks on the Epicenter shopping center in Mykolaiv. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in the Mykolaiv region.

“On the night of September 4-5, Russian troops repeatedly attacked one of the shopping centers in Mykolaiv with drones. As a result of enemy strikes, the shopping halls were significantly damaged and fires broke out,” the State Emergency Service noted.

As of this morning, two victims are known – a 72-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl.

According to Yulia Chudnovets , head of the public relations department of the Epicenter K group of companies , drones circled over the facility for a whole day, preventing rescuers from fully extinguishing the fire. “During this time, there were six flights,” the Epicenter K representative noted.

According to her, 520 people worked in the shopping center. Among them were people whom the company transferred from destroyed facilities in Kherson, Zaporizhia, and Odessa.

“They already lost their jobs because of the war. They started over. And now they lost it again,” Chudnovets wrote.
