The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate noted that processes could begin that would threaten the existence of Ukraine.

The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, warned that serious negotiations on ending the war must begin before the summer, since processes could begin that would threaten the existence of Ukraine.

This is stated in the material of “Ukrainska Pravda”. According to the publication, a closed meeting was recently held in the Rada. The leaders of the parliament and factions invited the Defense Forces command to understand the real state of affairs in the war.

“At first, the General Staff representatives told a lot, in a confusing but very interesting way. Then there were other different reports. But the answer that I remember most was Budanov’s. Someone asked him how much time we still had. And Kirill with his cold smile said: “If there are no serious negotiations before the summer, then very dangerous processes for the very existence of Ukraine may be launched. Everyone looked at each other and fell silent. Apparently, everything needs to work out,” said the interlocutor who took part in this meeting.
