There are victims and injured: the State Emergency Service showed the consequences of ballistic strikes on Kyiv (photo)

It is noted that four children are among the injured. Three of them were urgently hospitalized due to burns.

On the night of May 7, Russia launched ballistic missiles at Kyiv. Children were injured in the attack, and there were casualties.

Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported that damage was recorded in the Svyatoshynskyi, Solomyanskyi, and Dniprovskyi districts as a result of the attack. Seven people were injured, including four children.

Instead, the State Emergency Service stated that as a result of enemy attacks on Kyiv on the night of May 7, two people were killed and five were injured, including four children.

In the Svyatoshynskyi district, debris hit a 9-story residential building. Apartments on the 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th floors caught fire. The fire was extinguished on an area of 100 sq. m.

5 people were rescued — 1 adult and 4 children (3 children were hospitalized with burns). Rescue work is ongoing.

Consequences of the attack / State Emergency Service

In the Solomyanskyi district, the wreckage of a UAV fell into an open area.

A drone crashed into a multi-story residential building in the Dnipro district. Partial destruction of the ceiling on the 29th and 30th floors. No fire or injuries.

In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a UAV debris was recorded falling onto a 5-story residential building. Apartments on the 3rd and 5th floors caught fire. During the firefighting, the bodies of 2 people were discovered. The fire was extinguished.

Updated at 7:13. Klitschko clarified that the number of victims in the capital has increased to 8. Another woman was hospitalized. Three children were previously hospitalized. Thus, four victims have been hospitalized so far. Four were treated on the spot by doctors.

“Two residents of the capital died as a result of a hostile attack,” the mayor added.
