Stoltenberg said he continued to believe that the biggest risk for the West would be a victory for dictator Putin in Ukraine.

The decision on whether to allow Ukraine to use Western long-range missiles to strike Russia will be up to individual countries, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg told LBC .

“These decisions must be taken by individual members of the Alliance, but it is important that we consult closely on these issues,” he said.

At the same time, the NATO Secretary General emphasized that in war, “there are no options without risks.”

“We have a full-scale war in Europe, started by Moscow. There are no options in war without risks. But I continue to believe that the biggest risk for us would be a victory for President Putin in Ukraine,” Stoltenberg explained.

Permission to strike Russia: latest news

Ukraine is awaiting permission from Western countries to strike the territory of the Russian Federation with long-range weapons that were received as assistance from partner countries.

As Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky recently stated, there is currently no permission to strike deep into Russian territory. He emphasized that Ukraine simply wants to be able to attack bases that are used to bomb Ukrainian territory.

Earlier, the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Rob Bauer , stated that Ukraine has a firm legal and military right to strike targets on Russian territory.

  1. “Stoltenberg said he continued to believe that the biggest risk for the West would be a victory for dictator Putin in Ukraine.”

    Of course, Stoltenberg is right.
We’ve said this before, more than a few times: If mafia land wins, Europe’s problems will only start. The United States is already a sinking ship with Biden and especially with a Trump in the WH again. In this case, Europe will be in real trouble.

    • Who knows what Trump would do, he’s threatened to cut off funding and he’s boasted on several occasions he would do much more than Bidenov.
Still, I am waiting for congress to demand Bidenov answer why he won’t allow the ATACMS to be used since sending ATACMS is specifically called for in the legislation that Bidenov signed into law. Of course the lawless president won’t answer it unless he has to and only the HoR can force him to answer since the Senate is run by more corrupt lawless puppets.

      • “Who knows what Trump would do”

Anyone who’s not deep into the MAGAt cult knows what trumpkov would do.

“he won’t allow the ATACMS to be used”

He won’t allow the ATACMS to be used *on russian territory*.

“sending ATACMS is specifically called for in the legislation that [President Biden] signed into law.’

And ATACMS were sent. And, as has been reported on this site, ATACMS were used to strike the rascists. (See, e.g., “ATACMS Score Bullseye Strike on Russian Military Base” – https://ukrainetoday.org/atacms-score-bullseye-strike-on-russian-military-base/ )

As to why he won’t allow the ATACMS to be used against targets on russian territory, I think that’s been well answered – he’s afraid of crossing a red line and inviting a response by russia against the US that would result in the deaths of US citizens. Many of us feel that the fear is unfounded, but the reasoning isn’t a secret.

      • It’s scary to have so many imbeciles in our government these days. Of course, it’s always worse when the boss himself is also a hopeless imbecile.
