In particular, he commented on the murder of Ukrainian soldiers in Avdiivka.

There are many more cases of Russians shooting Ukrainian prisoners of war than is publicly reported. This was stated by the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights Dmitry Lubinets .

Speaking about the murder of military personnel in Avdeevka on the telethon, he noted that the Ukrainian side had the opportunity to communicate with the Russian side. It was previously agreed that the wounded servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine would be officially taken prisoner, provided with medical care, and then returned through the prisoner exchange procedure.

“The Russian side has once again shown that any agreements may simply not be fulfilled. (…) There are many more such cases than the cases that we talk about publicly. Unfortunately,” he concluded.

Execution of Ukrainian prisoners of war by the occupiers

Over the past few days, it has become known about several war crimes of the Russian Federation related to the execution of Ukrainian prisoners. Thus, in Avdiivka, the occupiers killed six seriously wounded prisoners who could not leave their positions on their own. They were identified by their relatives and brothers from videos published by the Russians.

The 110th separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that the enemy agreed to evacuate seriously wounded Ukrainian soldiers and then carry out an exchange. But the occupiers shot them.

The Donetsk regional prosecutor’s office stated that Ukrainian law enforcement officers  began an investigation  into two separate cases of execution of Ukrainian prisoners of war by Russians – in Avdeevka and near the village of Veseloye in the Donetsk region.

  1. We hear crickets about these atrocities unless Ukraine kills ONE roach. Then we’d hear all sorts of crying from across this globe. What’s wrong with all of this?
