It is noted that warming points will be operating in the city.
The Russian army attacked Ternopil with drones on the night of November 26. As a result of the strike, some residents were left without electricity.
Ternopil Mayor Serhiy Nadal said on the air of the Kyiv 24 TV channel that trolleybuses will not be on the routes in the city for now, but the number of buses has been increased. According to him, schools and kindergartens will operate as usual, and electricity will be supplied to these institutions by the regular power supply and generators.

“I can’t give a clear answer, they will work during the day, since there is serious damage and here everything depends not only on the work of the power engineers, but on the possibility of obtaining additional electrical power,” the city mayor noted.
He also pointed out that the region is currently experiencing the most critical power situation since the start of the full-scale war.
“Yes, it (the situation with electricity, – UNIAN) is worse than it was in previous periods, but I think that if work continues as it is currently being done, we will be able to restore it as quickly as possible,” Nadal said.
He also indicated that warming points will be operating in the city.
Updated 13:03. During a briefing, the head of the Ternopil OVA, Vyacheslav Negoda, stated that at night enemy drones attacked a very important facility on which the energy supply of almost the entire region depends.
“Since the beginning of the attack, which was repeated several times, the Air Defense Forces managed to shoot down three UAVs, but the rest still hit their target, and we have not very good news. After 1 a.m. we felt it, and I think we will feel it for a long time,” the official noted.
He noted that the affected facility is very important for the region; it primarily provided power to Ternopil, as well as other populated areas and districts.
“If at the beginning of the strike we actually had about 70% of this territory without power, then by the morning the regional power company and other technical services did everything possible to connect to other systems passing through our region, and most of the power supply was restored,” Negoda said.
In turn, the representative of the regional power company emphasized that there is currently a capacity deficit in the region, due to which temporary network schedules of restrictions will be introduced. They will concern the northern part of the region, Ternopil and nearby settlements.
The city’s mayor, Sergey Nadal, noted that as of 7 a.m., a full water supply and sewer pumping stations were established. The boiler houses have already been connected to a permanent power supply.
He also reported that electricity had been supplied to the contact network and trolleybuses were leaving for their routes.
