Independence must be defended!
In 1991, Ukraine regained its independence peacefully. Today, we defend it with arms in hand.
It is our duty to preserve what past generations fought for—and what we are fighting for now.
Happy Independence Day, free people!
Glory to Ukraine!

Today Ukraine celebrates 35 years of renewed independence. 🇺🇦
For a thousand years, through different generations and different battles, Ukrainians have continued to make the same choice: to be free. Today, we are defending that choice once again.
Thank you to everyone who protects our independence alongside us — in Ukraine and around the world. And if you’d like to give Ukraine an Independence Day present, the best one is to support those defending it. You can support our army through our NAFO campaign:
