Trump and Putin will have a telephone conversation in the coming days or weeks.
The war in Ukraine must end with diplomatic negotiations , but it is unrealistic to expect the Russians to be driven out of all occupied territories, Michael Volz, Donald Trump’s national security adviser, told ABC News .
To have meaningful talks to end the war, Trump needs to establish direct contacts with both sides, particularly the Kremlin, he says. And preparations for that meeting, which is expected to take place “in the coming months,” are already underway, Volz says.
“We haven’t determined the exact format for that yet, but we’re working on it. But I would expect at least a phone conversation in the next few days or weeks. So that would be a step we could start with,” Volz said.
He also expressed hope that Ukraine and Russia could agree on a ceasefire on the front, which could be “an incredible positive step on both sides” toward actual peace talks.
“Everyone knows that this (the war – UNIAN) has to end diplomatically somehow. I just don’t think it’s realistic to say that we’re going to kick every Russian out of every inch of Ukrainian soil, even Crimea. President Trump acknowledged that reality, and I think that was a huge step. Now the whole world acknowledges that reality,” he said.
Volz stressed that the war must be ended so that it does not draw in the entire world, as it has already drawn in the DPRK.

What sort of fucking “negotiation” is this? Trumpkov has already ruled out Nato. VanZkov has already ruled out EU membership. Captain Cornflake wants to give away all the currently occupied territories and Trumpkov Jr just wants Ukraine to die.
And the forceful liberation of Panama and Greenland are Trumps first priorities.
The reality these people are blathering about exists only in their warped minds.
International law is clear on this matter; Crimea is Ukrainian. This is reality, and not what a few anti-democratic and lawless so-called Republicans want.
If the cockroaches aren’t expelled now, due to the West’s wimpy weakness, they will be ousted in another time, perhaps when finally a real POTUS is back in the WH who is not like those few make-believes we’ve had the last four times.
