The Russian Ministry of Defense cannot cope with the consequences of a cyber attack by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Moscow Region .

“As of March 5, 2024, the official website of the enemy’s law enforcement agency is still “down,” intelligence officials said.

The Main Intelligence Directorate noted that IP telephony, domains of the Russian Ministry of Defense, as well as servers that provided electronic document management for the “enemy structure” also remain blocked.

Cyber ​​attack on the Russian Defense Ministry

The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine hacked the Russian Ministry of Defense . GUR cyber specialists carried out another successful special operation against Russia – as a result of a DDoS attack, they managed to gain access to the servers of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Now the Ukrainian intelligence service owns the information security and encryption software used by the Russian Ministry of Defense, as well as an array of secret official documentation from the Russian Ministry of War.

We are talking about orders, reports, instructions, reports and other documents that circulated between 2,000 structural units of the Russian law enforcement agency, intelligence officials noted.

The GUR noted that work in Russian cyberspace aimed at hindering and paralyzing the activities of the law enforcement agencies and officials of the aggressor state responsible for the war against the Ukrainian people continues.
