The Perm interdistrict environmental prosecutor’s office organized an inspection of the fact that the water in the rivers Yegoshikha, Danilikha, Iva and Kama was colored green. This was reported on the website of the Perm Territory Prosecutor’s Office.
Wastewater samples are being taken, information has been requested from the regulatory and supervisory authorities, PJSC “T Plus”, LLC “Perm Grid Company” on the issued decisions on the provision of water bodies for use in order to discharge wastewater, etc.
According to “Komsomolskaya Pravda Perm”, photographs of Perm rivers with green water began to be published in social networks at the beginning of the week.
In the energy company “T Plus” RIA Novosti said that the water turned green due to the addition of the dye “Uranin-A” (fluorescein), which serves to check the integrity of heating networks. It is safe and fully complies with sanitary standards, assured in “T Plus”.
