The war is the same — the goals are different.

Very disappointed in Germany.

Friedrich Merz has repeatedly expressed his readiness to approve the delivery of Taurus missiles to Ukraine.

But today, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius stated that Germany is not “considering delivering Taurus missiles to Ukraine.”

Taurus missiles are German precision-guided weapons with a range of up to 500 km and a 500 kg warhead. They are comparable to the British Storm Shadow and the French SCALP-EG, which are already being used by the Ukrainian military.

The debate over supplying Taurus missiles to Ukraine has been ongoing for several years. Former Chancellor Olaf Scholz opposed the idea, while the new leader, Friedrich Merz, has consistently expressed his willingness to approve it.

Three thoughts. One. Supply issues. Two. A more sleight of hand. Germany agreed to help Ukraine build long range weapons. Why give when you can teach someone to build. No german components landing in a field in occupied Ukraine or Russia. Three. Why tell Russia what you are or are not actually doing. Remember all war is based on deception.

The primary problem is that there is even a debate about this in the first place and not just a straightforward delivery of TAURUS missiles (and other weapons) to Ukraine.

Apparently some people (in our country of Slovenia even more than in Germany) have a difficult time to understand that there are currently tens of thousands of Ukrainians who are dying so that we can live peacefully and without worries whether or not we will be still alive tomorrow 😡

Seems rather obvious that Germany / Sweden / Ukraine have already agreed to localize / produce missiles in Ukraine instead of using Germany missiles on stock which would mean that the discrepance between the German ministers are limited. The maybe most important detail in the Taurus is from SAAB Bofors Sweden. This would lead to more independency for Ukraine, less transparancy towards Russia and higher cost efficiency.

Merz turns out to be Scholz with a different haircut. Does that mean he lied to voters to get elected? Saying Ukraine has his permission to strike anywhere in Russia also becomes pointless rhetoric without the means. Europe continues its zombie walk towards WW3 of its own making.

Well, Germany was since long time under ruzzian “peacefull occupation” – schroeder and merkel have made this obvious. But Merz, seemed to be finally, a real leader and suddenly, this.hapenned. There is something terribly wrong behind the scene…

Elon Musk and Yevgeny Prigozhin. Different continents, same script.

One launched rockets, the other launched coups. Both built empires inside empires — private power under the protection of the state. Both became indispensable… until they became inconvenient.

Musk challenged the U.S. establishment with tweets and tantrums. Prigozhin challenged the Kremlin with tanks and threats. And in both cases, the system blinked — but didn’t break.

Eventually, both men were forced to bend the knee. Prigozhin ended up in a jet that “mysteriously” fell from the sky. Musk, in a quieter downfall, just posted an awkward apology and begged for peace.

The moral of the story?

States tolerate chaos merchants — until they threaten the order that feeds them.
And when that happens, it’s not the system that gets swallowed. It’s the rebel.

Institutions may be slow and flawed. But they’re colder, older, and more patient than any billionaire.

Trump helped russia invade more of Ukraine.

In May 2025, russia captured more Ukrainian territory than in any single month since late 2022 — and it’s no coincidence this happened under Trump’s watch.

Since Trump returned to office, russian attacks have skyrocketed. His pro-russian rhetoric and refusal to hold Putin accountable have emboldened the Kremlin to escalate its war of aggression.

The U.S. has slashed arms supplies to Ukraine, leaving them without enough air defense missiles to stop russian rockets and drones. Civilian deaths have surged.

Washington also stopped sharing vital intelligence, allowing russia to retake Kursk and push deep into Ukrainian territory.

Trump has blocked new sanctions against russia — and has threatened Ukraine with sanctions instead.

He didn’t just abandon Ukraine. He handed Putin the green light.

The moment Trump took the Oath the US was on a downward spiral.
The Wannabe Dictator was always going to sell out to Putin, Red Fascism has taken the White House and imposed its will across the globe.
Trump defers, denies, destroys and dictates. The only people that can save the US, Ukraine and mend broken friendships are Congress backed by the free citizens of America !
Take it from Trump and his Fascist Regime ! Prison is the only place these charlatans should be ! Treason and Treachery !

Putin has done his normal strategy.
Take over the capital then put his own people in , then control the country!
He has done this with the USA now!
But he will not do it with Ukraine.
Whatever the Russians can do the Ukrainians can do better!
Ukrainians have more indiduaty and strength than the whole of Russia and USA put together.
Don’t worry Ukraine The Uk / Europe and Canada have your back !!!!
Stuff Trump !!!
He won’t be there much longer after what he is doing to his own citizens!!!

Denying intelligence to Ulkraine is equivalent to being an accomplice to war criminals.

Trump is clearly in a compromised position with Putin. This is substantiated by how Trump and Putin describe each other…which is essentially complementary, and how there is practically a zero level of condemnation from Trump (and his equally inept appointees) about the brutality Russian military attacks are inflicting on #Ukraine citizens.

There must be an investigation into how Trump got all his money (when he was practically bankrupt) almost as he returned to the USA after his trip to Moscow …the sooner the better.

……………….

Ukraine and the U.S. both “congratulated” russia on “russia day” — but in very different ways.

Marco Rubio, now acting as the U.S. Secretary of State and a mouthpiece for the Kremlin, issued a statement pledging support for the “russian people” — the same people whose army is waging a genocidal war against Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Ukraine marked the occasion by doing what it does best: resisting. According to the Ukrainian General Staff, russian losses have now surpassed one million — killed and wounded. That’s 5× more than all russian and Soviet casualties in conflicts since World War II — and 15–20× more than in Afghanistan or Chechnya.

One side sends greetings. The other sends consequences.

  1. I fully agree with Andrew M. above.
However, for once … just one single time … I would like to see REAL courage and TOUGHNESS from a single Western leader. Not in my lifetime, I suppose.
