Washington claims that North Korea supplied Russia with ballistic missiles and ammunition.

The United States is “concerned” by reports of North Korean soldiers fighting for Russia in Ukraine , a White House official said on Tuesday.

In his statement, the representative of the National Security Council of the White House, Sean Savett, said that the participation of North Korean troops in Ukraine, if true, would mean a significant strengthening of defense relations between North Korea and Russia.

“Such a move would also mean a new level of desperation for Russia as it continues to suffer significant battlefield losses in its brutal war against Ukraine,” Savett said.
