The US no longer wants a temporary ceasefire in Ukraine: Vance surprised with a new statement

After the Trump administration failed to persuade Putin to agree to a ceasefire, the White House is now saying that the ceasefire is not so necessary.

The United States is no longer pushing for a 30-day ceasefire in Ukraine , which would be a prerequisite for substantive talks on a lasting peace. The corresponding statement was made by US Vice President J.D. Vance .

He stated that it was not possible to agree on a long-term ceasefire on the front, so hostilities continue. According to Vance, the US appreciates that the Ukrainians agreed to a 30-day ceasefire.

“What the Russians said – you don’t have to agree with it, but it’s important to understand where the other side is coming from – the Russians said that ‘a 30-day ceasefire is not in our strategic interests.’ So we have to try to move beyond the obsession with a 30-day ceasefire and focus on what a long-term settlement should look like,” the US vice president said.

  1. Vance: Putin told he does not want any ceasefire, so we America will reject it as well…………

YOU ARE ONLY LISTENING TO THE BOSS!

  2. The attitude would have been far different had mafia land had agreed to a 30 day ceasefire, and Ukraine had rejected it. This is beyond cowardice, it’s appeasement that will lead to a larger war.

  3. So, Now you give Ukraine all the weapons it needs? (i know the answer, no worry…………..)

  4. VanZkov, like all Krasnov appointees, is an integrity-free putler-rimmer who could not even be trusted to run a hot dog stand in Palookaville.

  5. “After the Trump administration failed to persuade Putin to agree to a ceasefire, the White House is now saying that the ceasefire is not so necessary.”

When you think the low point has been finally reached by this administration, they manage to sink out of sight once again, covered by shame and pusillanimity. It’s worthy of a draft dodger and felon.
