US Vice President J.D. Vance said that the United States has ended funding military aid to Ukraine. However, he said that if European countries want to purchase American weapons for Ukraine, the United States is not opposed to selling them.
Vance said this on Fox News, reports Censor.NET.
Vance said the US has told European allies that Russia’s war against Ukraine is happening “on your doorstep, right under your noses.” Therefore, the politician said, Europeans should take a bigger role in the settlement if this war “is so important to them.”
“I think the president and I certainly believe that America is done funding the war in Ukraine. We want to achieve a peaceful resolution to this situation. We want to stop the killing,” Vance said.
In his opinion, “Americans are tired of endlessly sending their money, their taxes, to this particular conflict.”
“But if the Europeans want to take the initiative and actually buy weapons from American manufacturers, we are not against it. But we ourselves will not finance this anymore,” the US vice president emphasized.

In turn, NATO Secretary General Marco Rutte said that NATO will pay for weapons for Ukraine, which will be produced by the United States of America.

Everyone wants the killing to stop, but there are ways to do it. Bending over to a genocidal war criminal is not one of them. Arrogantly giving away Ukrainian soil to mafia land is not one of them.
