The proposal to fire McCarthy from his position was put forward by Republican Party representative Matt Gaetz.
The US House of Representatives voted to fire Kevin McCarthy as speaker. 216 officials spoke in favor of the corresponding decision.
This became known during the voting, which was broadcast live. 210 people cast “no” votes.

Gaetz had to use Democrats microphone, as allies of McCarthy blocked access to Republican side mics.
This is bad, as Gaetz is not a Ukraine supporter.
McCarthy pretended not to be one to get the votes of the isolationist faction within the House, but in fact he was supporting Ukraine.

That’s not accurate. The reason is that McCarthy worked with Democrats to avoid a government shutdown (which would have been disastrous), after the “Freedumb cockus” refused to allow passage of anything that had a chance of being approved by the Senate or signed by President Biden.
So the American Democrats removed McCarthy, who was supporting Ukraine on the bill.

It was a Republican who made the motion to vacate the seat.
And McCarthy omitted support for Ukraine from his bill. Democrats wanted to include support for Ukraine.
But only 8 of the American Republican’s voted to oust him, correct????
It was the American Democrats who removed him.. Count the votes?
Republicans hold the majority in the House; it’s up to them to decide who the majority leader is. True, Democrats could have thrown him a lifeline if he asked, but:
– he never asked
– he failed to fulfill a funding commitment made to Biden
– he promoted radical legislation
– after saying that an impeachment inquiry requires a full vote of the House of Representatives, he turned around and launched a sham impeachment inquiry on his own say-so.
– after Democrats joined McCarthy in voting for a 45-day continuing resolution to avoid a disastrous shutdown, McCarthy went on the Sunday shows to bash Democrats, blaming them for the brinkmanship that led to the funding crisis in the first place, when they were the ones who saved him.
– he voted to overturn the 2020 presidential election results after pro-Trump rioters stormed the Capitol.
Basically, the man is an untrustworthy weasel, and Democrats had no reason to save him from the events that McCarthy guaranteed would happen as a result of his constantly bending to extremists.

Why are you supporting Ukraine, now, when the American Democrats did not support us in Ukraine, in 2014 invasion??
The Senate had a bill that included support for Ukraine. McCarthy rushed out a bill first that was similar but omitted support for Ukraine. House Democrats wanted to include support for Ukraine. The House Republicans opposed it.
