Rubio said that Washington did not stop passing intelligence to Ukraine.

Russia’s nighttime ballistic missile strike on Kyiv took place without any warning from the United States, Radio Liberty reports , citing its sources.

“Again, there was no prior warning of the ballistic missile attack on Kyiv that had just occurred,” the publication notes.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio commented on the incident, calling it a “software glitch.”

“A few nights ago, a software error occurred in Ukraine’s early warning system. US European Command (EUCOM) is currently dealing with this,” he said .

At the same time, Rubio said that he “cannot comment on what happened last night.”

At the same time, he claims that Washington has not stopped sharing intelligence with Ukraine. This is how he responded to the accusations of Volodymyr Zelensky, who announced the suspension of intelligence sharing by the US.

“I don’t know where he gets this information from and why he’s telling the press about it. There was no pause. Zelensky should focus on ending this war,” he said.

As a reminder, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that for three days Ukraine had not received intelligence from the US regarding Russia’s planned ballistic attacks on the country.
