In Russia’s Yamal region and several neighboring areas located almost 3,000 km from the Ukrainian border, a missile threat alert was issued for the first time since the start of the war. Similar missile threat alerts were issued in the Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Kurgan, and Tyumen regions, as well as in Perm Krai and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. Airports in Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, and Perm were closed for arrivals and departures.
