Norway has received permission from the United States to transfer 22 F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine. However, not all of them are working.

The media writes that 12 Norwegian F-16s, which the state planned to sell to the American company Draken International under a contract signed back in 2021, may be suitable for flight.
Nettavisen notes that the remaining fighters can be used for spare parts and repairs of other aircraft.
“The sale agreement with Draken International appears to be falling through, and the aircraft, which were supposed to be used for training in the US, will instead be used to protect Ukrainian airspace,” the newspaper writes.
As OBOZ.UA reported, Dutch Defense Minister Kaisa Ollongren previously stated that her country plans to transfer only 24 F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine. The Ukrainian military will receive them after they complete all the necessary training.
