The UN General Assembly voted to exclude Russia from the Human Rights Council

Most of the UN member states supported the exclusion of Russia from the Human Rights Council. At the UN General Assembly, 93 countries voted in favor and 24 against. Another 58 countries abstained, CNN reports .

The United States and Great Britain demanded that Russia be excluded from the Human Rights Council after it became known about the killing of civilians in Bucha. The Russian authorities deny involvement in the death of people in Bucha.

The members of the Human Rights Council are elected for three years on a territorial basis. So Russia and Ukraine were elected from the countries of Eastern Europe for a period from 2021 to 2023.

  1. I’d like to know the countries that abstained v or said no. That seems like POS countries.

  2. Russia are going to be busy soon. Russia has called on an unspecified number of countries to vote “no”, saying an abstention or not voting would be considered an unfriendly act and would affect bilateral relations.

93 voted yes, 58 abstained. That’s 151 countries that are against Russia, in their words. One of those that abstained was India.

    • The 58 are just as vile or perhaps more so then the countries voting No. At least the countries saying NO have balls, granted balls that need to be cut off, but balls nonetheless.

    • Abstentions are as good as a pro-putlerstan vote.
The UN is dominated by shithole countries with scum dictators.

      • Algeria, Belarus, Bolivia, CAR, China, Congo, Cuba, N-Korea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Iran, Kazachstan, Kirgizia, Laos, Mali, Nicaragua, Russia, Syria, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam and Zimbabwe voted against.
All well-known democratic states, no wait……………..

            • I saw on your diagram that Armenia, Azerbaijan and some others only had blank spaces after their names; abstentions?

              • No shows. They didn’t even vote. Putler won’t be happy with their Armenian puppets.
