On April 2, at 11:00, the operational personnel of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant raised the Ukrainian flag over the station.

Today the flag of Ukraine was raised at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant .

This was reported by the Slavutitsky City Council on  Telegram and on the official Chernobyl page on Facebook .

59 people who work at the station and survived the invasion of the invaders raised the blue-yellow flag and sang the anthem of Ukraine.

“Today at 11:00 at the industrial site of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, the flag again flew up and the Anthem of Ukraine was played,” the message says.

The operational personnel of the station took part in the flag-raising ceremony, which, under the difficult conditions of capture by Russian troops, has been ensuring and continues to ensure the nuclear and radiation safety of the Chornobyl NPP facilities all this time.
