U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the AFU is the most powerful army in Europe thanks to new tactics. Russian losses are five times higher than Ukrainian ones.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are currently the “strongest and most powerful” in Europe. According to him, the Ukrainian army has been able to adapt to modern warfare by creating new tactics and technologies, UNN reports.

“There is no doubt that the very necessity of fighting this war has forced the Ukrainians to develop new tactics, new methods, new equipment, and new technologies that create a kind of hybrid asymmetric warfare. It is impressive, without a doubt.” – Rubio stated

According to him, the Russian army is suffering significantly higher losses than the Ukrainian one.

“If you look at the situation, the Russians are losing five times more soldiers every month than the Ukrainians, despite the fact that Ukraine is a smaller country and has a smaller army.” – Rubio noted

Rubio also emphasized that the strength of the Ukrainian army is linked both to international assistance and to the combat experience gained during the war.

“The Armed Forces of Ukraine are now the strongest and most powerful armed forces in all of Europe – this needs to be stated clearly.” – he added
