According to preliminary information, from 15 to 40 occupiers were eliminated.
On March 27, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a devastating strike on the Pogar border checkpoint near the village of Sluchovsk, Bryansk Oblast, Russia, from where the Russians have repeatedly launched strike drones to terrorize Ukraine. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that the strike destroyed the military infrastructure of the checkpoint, along with communications and electronic warfare equipment, a video surveillance system, and other technical equipment.
“According to preliminary information, from 15 to 40 occupiers were eliminated,” the General Staff added.
The report also emphasizes that this airstrike was a response to the Russian Federation’s massive drone attacks – “cynical actions of the Russian army, which continues terror against Ukraine by daily launching dozens of strike drones into populated areas, destroying civilian infrastructure and residential buildings, and killing peaceful citizens of Ukraine.”
“It is known that Russian UAV launches have been repeatedly recorded from the Pogar location,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.
The destruction of the specified checkpoint reduces Russia’s potential to conduct combat operations against units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine in the Sumy region and in the Kursk direction, the message added.
