The situation in the Oleksandrivske sector, as well as in the Huliaipole area in Zaporizhzhia, remains tense. The enemy is constantly attempting attacks, but the Defense Forces are conducting effective counteroffensives and assaults.

Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky announced this on Facebook. He said he was working in the area carrying out combat missions in the southeastern directions.

“I visited several command posts of brigades and regiments involved in active combat operations in the Aleksandrovsk area and in the Hulyaipole region. I held working meetings with the Airborne Assault Troops commander and the commanders of airborne assault and assault units,” the commander-in-chief noted.

The situation in the Gulyaipole area

According to Syrsky, the occupiers have not abandoned their intention to break through our combat lines and are conducting constant attacks, including with the use of weapons and military equipment, but without significant success.

At the same time, the Defence Forces hold certain lines and positions, disrupt the enemy’s intentions and inflict significant losses on him in manpower and equipment.

“Our units are conducting effective counterattacks and assault operations, effectively using unmanned aerial vehicles, artillery, and electronic warfare systems,” adds Syrsky.

The General heard reports from commanders on the completion of assigned tasks, changes in the operational situation, proposals for further actions, and meeting the priority needs of our units.

“I gave the relevant orders. I emphasized the top priority: liberating the territories is extremely important, but we must first and foremost protect the lives of our soldiers and maintain the combat readiness of our units and subunits,” Syrsky emphasized.

As a reminder, the Zaporizhzhia sector remained a priority for the Russian army last week. The highest activity was recorded on Friday and Saturday in the Polohy-Huliaipole sector.

This was reported by Petro Andryushchenko, director of the Center for the Study of Occupation. He noted that Huliaipole is no longer the sole primary target for Russian troops in the Zaporizhzhia sector. The occupiers are shifting their focus and redeploying equipment and forces to other areas of the front.

The highest saturation is currently recorded in the Tokmak-Orekhov-Vasilyevka region.

As OBOZ.UA reported, Ukrainian defense forces recently advanced near Slovyansk and Huliaipole , as well as in the Kostyantynivka-Druzhkovka tactical area. Meanwhile, the occupiers also achieved partial success near Pokrovsk, Huliaipole, and in the Kostyantynivka-Druzhkovka tactical area.
