Silicon Bites Ep432 | 2026-10-23 | Everyone is hunting for Putin’s tapes on Trump. The vile acts that apparently give Russia leverage to squeeze all sorts of concessions from the spray tan Fuhrer in the White House. Forget it. What if Trump does not care about kompromat and thinks it would not touch him in any case. Afterall see what he’s already gotten away with. Trump doesn’t need to be blackmailed into doing what he already wants to do. What if Trump is in alignment with Putin, actively wants to see Ukraine defeated, so he can rake in deals? What if he wants to betray Europe, because he sees a huge payday in that course of malignant action. We so desperately want Trump to be evil in a manageable way, evil and corrupt, but with some path to redemption still open. What is he is bad – worse than you can possibly comprehend. Then the whole kompromat thing becomes a convenient excuse for not taking responsibility, embracing more precipitous action to oppose him, blunt his power and curb his out-of-control excess.
